Family with children enjoy memorable stay
Staff were welcoming and Jess let us check in early which was a nice surprise. Room was warm and clean and had everything we needed plus a decent amount of towels. Breakfast was really good with a full English that filled us up and made my family happy.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

The room was spacious and clean, with comfy beds and nice bathroom facilities. It had all the essentials like tea/coffee, a TV, and free WiFi. The thoughtful touches, like complimentary chocolate bars and water, were appreciated! Just a heads up, the bathrooms were separate and a bit of a walk, but it wasn't a huge issue. pretty solid for a pub stay!

I really liked the cozy atmosphere of The Swan. The Large Twin Room was spacious and clean, with a nice view across the high street. I appreciated the coffee and tea facilities available in the room. Breakfast on the first day was quite nice, with a great selection. the showers had issues. one was scalding hot with no control, while the other had a cracked basin. The loud live music on the weekend made it hard to sleep, as the noise carried right into my room. I checked out a day early due to this. the breakfast service wasn’t organized the next morning, which was frustrating because I had an early commitment. while my stay had some pleasant aspects, the noise and bathroom issues really impacted my experience.

Direct links to Bristol just outside the door. Convenient access even after a long day, along with a bustling atmosphere that brings life to the surroundings.
Noise during the weekends is a real drawback. Live music shakes the walls until after midnight, making it feel like you’re caught in a concert instead of enjoying a restful night. Shared bathrooms are a bit of a challenge, with one shower running scalding hot and prevalent squeaky doors everywhere. Breakfast is not on point. a late start can make mornings feel rushed and disorganized. For the price, it might feel a tad steep given the gaps in experience.

Great food, but a few hiccups
The large twin room was spacious, but noise from live music late into the night disrupted our rest. Enjoyed a fantastic Sunday roast at the onsite restaurant – my roast beef melted in my mouth! Bring earplugs and enjoy the excellent dining options.
